Crane Raised at BLVD Q as Mattamy Marks Construction Progress Across the GTA

The construction pulse builds in Mattamy Homes' BLVD Q in South Etobicoke, where its crane was installed at the beginning of this month. In 935, in which Queensway east of Islington Avenue, the arrival of the crane is a milestone for the 10-story, mixed building that broke the ground last autumn and is supposed to bring 210 new houses in the growing queensway corridor.

The activity is part of a broader advance over the GTA, where Mattamy Homes continues to continue building at several locations despite a slower market. Mattamy Homes has delivered more than 135,000 houses in the past 45 years and is therefore the largest residential building in private ownership in North America. Their ongoing work in Toronto, Oakville, Milton and Burlington reflect a focus on quality and long -term joint structure, regardless of the economic headwind.

After the excavation has been completed, a picture for BLVD Q is underway on the underground levels. The photo above shows the crane rooted in the pit, behind which there is a ramp for construction vehicles along the east side and mobile cranes are parked in the class.

The 10-story mid-rise designed by TACT Architecture will lend 210 condominium suites and retail in the grade to a rapidly developing route of the Queensway. With the load for 2027, BLVD Q is part of a wider effort to deliver transiturable houses on the west side of Toronto. The building will contain joint jobs, outside terraces and fitness requirements.

In Westbend Residences, named after the West Bend district near High Park, ready -made concrete slices have shaped the masses, whereby the white cladding along the podium is installed. The location designed by BDP Quadrangle is located between the U -Bahn stations Keele and Dundas West and the Up Express Bloor Station.

In Burlington, Martha James Condos has reached the 14th floor, which has completed himself in more detail and continues the window installation steadily. The glazing was installed for the first ten floors, with the dry stone wall installed on the first six floors. This 14-story development, designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects, is discontinued north of Lake Ontario.

In Oakville's Preserve district, the construction in the Carding House entered the last route when the interior progresses to target summer assignments. The arrivals and window installation designed by Q4 architects are well advanced, while the three-story town houses are wrapped in white weather protection.

At Mile & Creek Phase 2 in Milton, the construction of the last phases is approaching, whereby the installation of drywall is now reaching the seventh floor. The surfaces have started, while the landscape design in the buildings has not yet been completed. We designed at Knymh Inc. and see how white facade panels have installed over large parts of the outer, while balconies and windows are available in most levels. With the occupancy for autumn 2025, phase 2 is part of the larger Mile & Creek community.

In the meantime, the construction in Milton continues with the prefabricated structure, which is now gathered on the fourth floor after the construction started last summer. The picture shows the installation work, whereby the crew members lead structural components over the crane. This phase 160 suites will deliver as the third phase in a MasterPlanned seven-building community.
