Elections Canada is now hiring for over 200,000 jobs

The independent, non-partisan agency hires more than 200,000 Canadians across the country to “experience first-hand democracy” and to work on the preliminary election days and on election day.

Employment opportunities are available in the local elections in Canada and vocal areas all over Canada, and the payment for a number of roles can be worth their time.

The employees of the office are only hired after the convening of an election and are commissioned to make all preparations required for a smooth coordination, as well as to offer revision and special voting providers.

Election officers are mainly commissioned to work on polling stations and are the employees on the front that help the voters coordinate.

Currently, numerous roles for the Canadian national elections have to be filled next month, including the following:

  • Community Liaison Officer who offers members of your target group information and support for the registration and submission of your voice.
  • The diversion operator, who has the task of ensuring the returnee's plans for the polling stations, are implemented during the election, including the administration and integration of operations and activities.
  • Training officer, who plans to return training in addition to the returning officer, deputy returnee and personnel commissioner.
  • Information officer who works on a polling station to set up and close the website, welcoming the voters and leading the voters to the polling local or registration switch.
  • Central reconciliation ladder, which is responsible for the administration of the polling station and ensures that all procedures are observed and the forms are filled out correctly.

The salary rates of the federal elections are determined by studying federal studies. The remuneration is between $ 17.40 for an election worker in level 1, such as:

The candidates must be at least 16 years old on the election day – April 28th and Canadian citizens to apply.

The qualifications for all roles include impartiality, basic competence, analytical and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work long days of at least 13 hours.

Depending on the position, some workers have to stand for long periods of time, complete detailed documents with a readable manuscript or counting voices.
