Mattamy Breaks Ground on Mile & Creek Phase 3

On a sunny morning last month, Mattamy Homes celebrated the groundbreaking of Phase 3 of Mile & Creek Condos with special guests from the Town of Milton. The event marks the start of construction on the final phase of this development in the rapidly growing Halton region of the western Greater Toronto Area. Scheduled for completion in June 2026, Phase 3 offers modern living spaces with access to natural landscapes, making it a premier choice for families and professionals alike.

While the two 8-story buildings of the first phase have now been completed, three tower cranes were perched on the construction site of the second phase. One of the cranes has since been toppled over.

Guests at the event included Milton District 3 Regional Councillor Sammy Ijaz, who addressed those in attendance. He referenced the province of Ontario's goal of building 1.5 million homes by 2031. “We are exceeding our goals here in Milton,” he said, “and that's because of the stronger partnership we have with the development community like Mattamy Homes.”

The development's impact on the local community is a blend of urban and natural elements. The community's series of mid-rise buildings were designed by KNYMH Inc. to reflect a contemporary aesthetic, utilizing a palette of neutral colors accented by metal and glass elements that harmonize with the surrounding green spaces.

Phase 3 will feature 160 suites available in a variety of configurations, from smaller one-bedroom units to spacious three-bedroom and den floor plans. These homes are designed to let in plenty of light and offer views of the protected natural areas that border the development. Inside, residents will find modern amenities and luxury finishes, including quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and high ceilings.

The interiors combine natural elements and modern design, featuring aesthetic and functional wood, metal, glass and stone finishes. The design team placed emphasis on cohesion with the surrounding nature, incorporating organic shapes and colours into the wall coverings, artwork and furniture.

The focal point of the planned community is the Clubhouse Amenity Pavilion, a three-story gathering place for recreation and socializing. Residents will have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center, lounge and co-working spaces. The rooftop terrace offers barbecue grills, a dining area and a fireplace lounge.

Located in the Cobban neighborhood at 740 Whitlock Avenue in east Milton, Mile & Creek is close to Main Street amenities, cultural restaurants, and the upcoming Milton Education Village—a comprehensive education, business, and healthcare center—further enhancing the community's appeal.

In addition, Mile & Creek's location near major transportation hubs such as Milton GO Station and Highways 401 and 407 allows for easy access to Toronto and Mississauga, making Mile & Creek an attractive option for commuters. The development's close connection to the natural environment, particularly the protected green spaces to the south and west, provides residents with recreational opportunities right on their doorstep. Mile & Creek is part of Milton's evolution into one of Canada's fastest-growing communities and an emerging technology hub.
