Photos and videos are distributed on social media after an airplane turned into Delta Airlines and crashed in Toronto at Pearson Airport. Details about the crash are still uncertain, but here are the facts reported so far:
- The plane was Delta Airlines flight 4819 from Minneapolis.
- 80 people (76 passengers, 4 crew members) were on the flight, who were injured at least two adults and a child as critical and brought to Toronto Hospital. A total of 15 passengers were injured.
- Photos and videos show the aircraft on the runway on the head. There was no reason for the crash yet, and there are no signs of other aircraft that are involved in the incident.
- All flights were immediately suspended and/or canceled at Pearson Airport because the emergency team reacted to the incident. The flights were resumed later from 5 p.m.
In a video published on social media, passengers are shown how the Delta Airlines aircraft is turned upside down.

One of the passengers, Ashley Zook, posted a series of videos about Snapchat after the crash, which temporarily turn them on the head before evacuating the plane.

Audio between the control tower in Pearson and the cockpit was also published online.
In the recording, the pilot is warned that the aircraft “pushes page on sliding path” and that there would be an “plane before”.

The aircraft model is a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR and was built by Bombardier. It has a capacity of 95 seats.
