Ottawa residents pay more to get their cappuccino than any other city in Canada.
Ottawa is tied with Vancouver for the average price of a full-size cappuccino at $5.62, according to data aggregator website Numbeo.
Close behind were Victoria, BC at $5.59 and Surrey BC at $5.58.
Ottawa even beat cities like Calgary ($5.47), Toronto ($5.03) and Montreal ($4.93).
The cheapest city for a frothy espresso drink is Mississauga, Ontario. at $4.56, just ahead of Burnaby, BC at $4.57
Numbeo uses crowdsourced data to determine the cost of living in different cities. Indicators include rental prices, food prices and prices for goods such as coffee.
Online gambling site OntarioBets has compiled data on Canadian cities based on Numbeo’s price indicators.
