Do You Have a Story About Your New York City Roommates?

Moving to New York City often means sharing a living space with strangers. They can become friends or lovers, our guides, sometimes our rivals. Our roommates can come from very different backgrounds, be at different stages of life, or work and socialize in different worlds than our own.

The New York Times Magazine is interested in speaking with people who have moved to New York during the pandemic and have found themselves in a unique roommate situation. You may be featured in an upcoming project that celebrates the happy (and sometimes unhappy) magic of living together.

If you have a roommate story, we’d love to hear from you. We will not use your name or identifying information without your permission and may contact you to find out more.
