The national average price for a gallon of regular petrol rose more than 10 cents last week and, according to AAA, reached USD 3.26. This marks the first time since September that the prices of this level have reached, which reflects the typical seasonal layers. Despite the increase, prices remain below the national average of the last year of USD 3.54 for the same period.

AAA involves the increase in several factors, including the ongoing refinery expectancy and the transition to more expensive petrol with summer panels. A month ago, the national average was $ 3.09.

Offer and demand trends

Data from the energy induction administration (EIA) show a decline in the gasoline requirement of 8.64 million barrels per day to 8.49 million barrels per day last week. Despite the increase, the inventory for this season is still about 4% below the five -year average.
