(Reuters) – The life and career of Mariah Carey is celebrated in a new comic.
TidalWave Comics included the singer in their Female Force series, which highlights successful women in their respective fields.
Carey’s childhood and rise to fame is vividly depicted across 22 pages with illustrations by Pablo Martins
writer Michael Frizell said in a statement that he was proud to write the glossy, “I hope readers learn something new about her.”
Three covers are released, one acknowledging her as the “Queen of Christmas”. Carey’s 1994 hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is still played frequently during the holiday season nearly 25 years later.
Hardcover and paperback editions will be released on December 7th.
