The 2023 Toronto Air Show returns to the city this weekend for a three-day aerial spectacle over the coast, including screaming military jets, retro fighter jets, thrilling aerobatic maneuvers and more.

Highlights of the 74th annual Canadian International Air Show include an exciting performance by the US Navy Blue Angels in their F/A-18 Super Hornets – the team’s first appearance in Toronto in 14 years – as well as the well-known annual performance by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds attract crowds.

Other highlights of this year’s air show include performances by the RCAF CF-18 demonstration team, 81-year-old Gord Price at the controls of the Yak-50 aerobatic aircraft, and a historic flight of a WWII-era P.-51 Mustang.

Important dates and times

The air show will run throughout Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 2 through Monday, September 4, with performances on each of the three days from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Show Locations

There are plenty of places to enjoy this year’s happenings for free, including waterfront viewpoints like parts of Ontario Place, Marilyn Bell Park, Sheldon Lookout at the mouth of the Humber River, and Humber Bay Park.

Those wishing to take a closer look at the aircraft can purchase general admission tickets or VIP flight deck tickets.

Standard general admission is $80 plus HST and a service charge and includes access to the exclusive Air Show Zone, stage viewing, an announcer feed, exclusive air shows and artist meet-and-greets.

The VIP flight deck ticket costs US$275 plus tax and a service charge and gives attendees all the same benefits as standard admission plus access to a chalet with daily lunches at an open beer and wine bar, access to an autograph table, private, air-conditioned Toilets, a limited program and a swag bag.
