Portia Hoover is the philanthropist, bestselling author, wealth creation coach, and energetic entrepreneur behind the online Level Up program that is transforming the lives of thousands of women around the world. With a strong passion for helping others succeed and a business acumen in creating new opportunities, Hoover created her business model that uses coaching women to build and own their own businesses and thereby become independent. With her unique business model, which she believed came from the inspiration and suggestion of God, she has been a blessing to more than 3,000 women around the world.
Hoover later became excited about the social media world and the endless possibilities of networking, creating opportunities and reaching larger audiences, which is out of reach in normal social relationships, especially the marketing experience she’s had over the past few years. In a series of events that she later attributed to God’s instruction, her online business began with a simple request from a young lady for help with an online opportunity.
A strong passion for helping others combined with a talent for finding new opportunities led to the creation of a business model designed to help women become entrepreneurs. This model became the blueprint for Hoover, whose passion has enabled her to coach, help and inspire women internationally to start their own brands such as lash lines, hair care lines, online boutiques and t-shirt lines.
The close connection with manufacturers around the world and the building of networks to improve the business process led to the neural connection of online companies, which Hoover established as experts for companies with online platforms, was mastered. All of these accomplishments also resulted in a greater impact on more lives as they inspired people to build better and more profitable business systems.
Over the years, Hoover has hosted training webinars on Shopify, an ecommerce website platform for building online stores and training on investing.
Why are you so passionate about helping women build wealth?
One reason I hated seeing my mother fight. And because she had problems, so did her children, of course. That’s why I focus so much on helping women strive for more. I think it is very important for women to have a bag and to produce a bag too if they know where I am from. There are so many ways to build generational wealth and excellent credit is one of them. Participating in real estate and investing in stocks are also another option. During my career I have helped thousands of women generate income from home, and this year I will help a thousand more.
What brought you on your wealth journey?
Growing up poor and spending most of my 20s and 30s fighting while working for other people, I sure put some fire under my dick to change it! I’ve been angry and tired and that in and of itself is a great recipe for success. I have kids, so being without was not an option for me or my family. This has not been an easy journey, but it is worth fighting for.
What plans do you have for your company when 2020 comes to an end?
I will focus on re-establishing my relationship with God. I’ve been through a lot with the loss of my mother. I was angry with God and sometimes still am. So I had to realize that I need some clarity. This is first. And getting out of my comfort zone and placing myself in an uncomfortable position to grow more in my business and as a person.
