Ryan Reynolds shared a touching tribute to a Canadian legend.
The Vancouver-born actor nodded to Terry Fox while wearing a t-shirt dedicated to the icon.
“I’ve been participating in the Terry Fox Run since second grade and I can’t think of a more enduring and beautiful legacy for one person,” he said in a social media post Feb. 18. “Terry Fox has inspired millions of lives and deaths.”
Last year, the Terry Fox Foundation recruited various Canadian stars such as Michael Bublé, Sidney Crosby and Rachel McAdams for a celebrity-studded campaign. This year the Terry Fox Run takes place on September 17th.
Scouts Canada named both Reynolds and Fox as Canada’s Most Prominent “Scout Badge-Eligible” Celebrities for 2022.
