One Delisle has expanded in Toronto’s Deer Park neighborhood. The 44-story residential tower on the northeast corner of Yonge Street and Delisle Avenue, designed by Studio Gang with WZMH Architects as Architect of Record, has become one of the city’s most distinctive high-rise projects. Studio Gang’s first Canadian commission consists of a series of rotating eight-story volumetric modules that gradually transform the building from a rectilinear podium into a near-cylindrical tower. UrbanToronto most recently wrote a report on the development of Slate Asset Management during a construction inspection in October 2025.
From the Beltline Bridge in May 2026, One Delisle had risen to its full architectural height. Formwork for the mechanical penthouse then began around the central core, while a concrete boom pump towers over the structure and the crane remains active overhead. Below, the formwork work on the penthouse levels has been completed. The construction elevator continues to be located on the north facade, resulting in a temporary interruption to the facade assembly, while the glazing and cladding of the curtain walls has progressed to around the 37th floor.

From the slope, the tower’s modules and sculptural massing are clearly expressed from the podium to the crown, gradually transforming from a rectilinear base to a rounded crown. White powder-coated aluminum cladding wraps the exterior with a grid-like arrangement of fluted pillars and faceted framing elements, contrasting with dark glazing and balcony guards behind. The bevelling of the window sections and balcony openings makes each floor slab unique, as no two levels are configured exactly the same.

Looking south along Yonge Street in late May, the concrete pour for the mechanical penthouse is now complete, with a compact, cube-shaped crown atop the residential tower. In the background, One Bloor West can be seen in the distance under his crane.

This close-up from this month highlights the complexity of the façade system, with panels framing the shifting modules as they rise. The modules alternate between floor-to-ceiling glazing and recessed balcony areas, giving the outdoor area depth.

West of Avenue Road in St. Clair, One Delisle dominates the view. Its white cladding contrasts with dark glazing fitted to two fluted façade sections up to the 38th floor. Above, the top floors wait to be enclosed, including the raw concrete above of the mechanical penthouse.

A Delisle is 155 m in size and will house 371 condominiums.
