The Evergreen Brick Works are no secret, but many people won’t recognize this place from the photo alone, and many wouldn’t know that it’s just minutes from a couple of subway stations, a freeway interchange, and a monument bridge or bridge a forest of skyscrapers. One of Toronto’s qualities is that it offers so many experiences, not all of which are particularly urban. In fact, this centrally located oasis of green in the heart of Toronto looks more like it’s miles from anywhere in this picture by UrbanToronto forums contributor David Capizzano, hmm, where have we seen a picture of him before? Just look at yesterday’s photo of the day and the location of this image is in the Don Valley just to your right!
