A Toronto Indian restaurant has been reported by health inspectors for several worrying violations.
Based at 1987 Yonge Street, Khau Gully was granted a conditional pass on May 15 after health inspectors found ten violations, including one major, five major and three minor violations.
This Indian restaurant serves a variety of popular Indian dishes including kababs, biryani, a selection of naans and other appetizers.
The most serious violation was the failure to “protect food from contamination or adulteration”.
Serious violations included a failure to “maintain hand washing stations,” a failure to “provide thermometers in refrigeration units,” and a failure to “protect against invading pests.”
The full list of violations can be found on the DineSafe website.
Despite the restaurant’s list of infractions, the conditional pass allows Khau Gully to remain open while working to fix his serious health infractions.
