Spencer Pratt went on a dirt slot with chairs and microphones and waited for his wife Heidi Montag to join him. It was at the end of August. The air tasted like batteries and the floor was drawn with combustion brands.
Pratt, the reality TV star, who is best known for his role as a Bad Boyfriend of Monday, took a place to MTV's “The Hills” in which the couple used to be the couple. The Canyon view was still there, but instead of walls and windows there was only a white canopy with a production team.
The couple's house of the Pacific Pacific Palisades burned down during the forest fires in January, which destroyed thousands of structures in the counties Los Angeles and Ventura and the neighborhood in which Pratt grew up and still lived. After the debris had been clarified, they redesigned the property into an outdoor podcast studio.
“Hopefully they will soon stop falling trees,” said Pratt, 42, to his producer when the sound of rotating chainsaws gave away from an estate nearby.
The podcast is called “The Fame Game with Heidi and Spencer”. In theory, it contains “Speidi” that chat about pop culture and celebrity. Lately, however, the show has just as often been a platform for Pratt's anger that is directed against the California leaders. Angry Gadfly is his new brand.
