Health Canada is warning consumers to stop using the BabyTeddy 7-in-1 Convertible Baby Crib Wooden Baby Cot due to the risk of injury and poisoning.

The department says the crib’s slats can break, trapping or injuring a baby.

It also states that the gold paint on the crib contains a higher than permitted amount of lead.

The convertible crib was sold on Amazon.ca.

Amazon says 58 of the cribs were sold in Canada.

Health Canada says it has not received any reports of injury or illness in that country.
