A 46-story tower was proposed in the northeastern corner of the Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West in the mountain district of Toronto. The tower was developed by the Republic Developments and the Silver Hotel Group and, in addition to the Bergennis station, the initial western term of the upcoming Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown LRT and a new stop at the Union Pearson Express, which was expected for the opening in the course of this year. The mixing usage project designed by SVN in the 1151 Weston Road with an additional front in the Hollis Street reflects the proposals from several other nearby suggestions to use their closeness to the upcoming Transit hub.

The location is currently occupied by a one-story Scotiabank branch, which was designed by the architect Gordon S. Adamson in the modern style of the middle of the century. The building was built for the so -called bank of Nova Scotia in 1949 and was relocated from its original position directly on the corner in the 1960s due to the widening of the road. Many of its original design features remain intact, including their emphasis on transparency and accessibility as well as the characteristics of the post -war architecture. The building is listed in the city's Heritage Register, and elements of it would be held back and laid as part of a new four -story podium.

On behalf of the developers, Batory Planning + Management submitted official plan and zoning applications for amendment applications. The 46-story residential tower would increase by 152.99 m with 512 units on a four-story podium. The building would include four elevators, with a ratio of 1 elevator per 128 units equated, which requires high -speed engines to ensure acceptable service values.

The development would achieve an a total of gross base area of 32,923 m², with 32,608 m² for living use and 315 m² the retail is assigned to the class. The resulting floor surface index is 25.1 -times cover of the 1,311 m² location. The equipment rooms are divided between 1,122 m² indoors and 210 m² outdoors. Interiors are proposed throughout the podium, while the room outdoors is located on a terrace above the cultural heritage base.

The tower would be positioned centrally and resigned from all characteristic lines to reduce the shadow effects. The podium plan includes a two-part basis: a four-story new structure and the composed facades of the Schotiabank building listed by cultural heritage. The inheritance elements would be moved to the southwestern corner of the site, closer to their original position in Weston and Eginton in order to act as the front of the retail area.
Below the class, a three -story underground garage offers 15 parking spaces for residents and 8 for visitors. A total of 327 bicycle parking spaces are proposed, divided between 293 long-term and 34 short-term bodies. The building is designed in such a way that it corresponds to Toronto Green standards in version 4, including EV outlets for all parking spaces for residential buildings.
Mount Dennis Station platforms are about 200 m in the east. The initial western term of the upcoming Eglinton Line 5 is also served by Go Kitchener Line and Up Express trains. Construction is so advancing on the Eglinton line 5 crosstown West extension, which will extend the lrt 9.2km West from Mount Dennis Through Etobicoke to Renforth Drive, with a Projected Opening in 2031. The TTC Serves The Area Bus Routes Along Weston Avenue, While Cyclists Benefit from Immediate Access to the Eginton West Multi -use Trail, Linking to the Humber River Trail and Royal York Bike Gassen.

Around the location, mixed buildings with mixed use and residential buildings are primarily equipped with a low building, but an increase in other high building suggestions will change the neighboring areas in Mount Dennis. In the northeast, 15 Hollis are proposed on 48 floors, while in the northwest there are 8 grasshoppers under construction, which rises to 37 floors. The nearby main suggestions include 9 Oxford on 35 floors, the Denarda Towers in 39 and 43 floors as well as 1175 Weston Road & 17 Locust Street in 38 and 48 floors. Further southeast, 955 Weston is proposed with towers of 24 and 34 floors, while 25 photography demand seven buildings of 20 to 45 floors.
