Army Sgt. Aisha Hardemon received the 100th house in the built program.
A veteran in Georgia has received a mortgage -free house from a residential company based in Atlanta.
The “Building to Honor” program has now given the Pultegroup 100 houses of veterans in the USA without being attached to mortgage chains. Us Army Sgt. Aisha Hardemon became the youngest recipient when the army celebrated this milestone. Hardemon now has a new place of residence in Henry County, a suburb of Metro Atlanta to describe it.
Pultegrup handed the keys to Hardemon on September 5 in a heart -warming ceremony with the ligaments with the national pride. When eight planes flew up, she arrived with a motorcycle brigade by the Patriot Guard, while dozens of American flags blew when she entered the McDonough district.

At the celebration of the “welcome house”, state officials, including Lt. Governor Burt Jones, part of how they recognized the honor. Hardemon went down her street under tears when she approached her new home.
“Firstly, I want to thank God,” said Hardemon during the ceremony according to the WSB TV. “I would like to thank God everything I protect myself, even in the times when I knew I wouldn't make it.”
She remembered her six -year service in the army and entered the US military in 2007. When she honored herself to serve her country, she remembered her tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. There she lost co -soldiers and experienced her own injuries. Despite the battles, her faith and inspiration from her grandfather kept her running.
The veteran added: “I used bravery to Iraq and Afghanistan because I was young and always wanted to step into my grandfather's footsteps.”
The legacy of her family in the military continued when Hardone's own son joined the Marines. For the commitment of your family for the service, the deskgroup is now honored with your new home. The company's CEO, Ryan Marshall, also emphasized the mission of the “Building to Honor” program.
“It is what makes this program so special that those who defend freedoms give back something,” said Marshall.
