Aspen Ridge is putting on the next crosstown community tower in the Don Mills and Eglinton

Aspen Ridge Homes submitted an application for approval for the location plan for a 39-story residential tower as the next renovation of the renovation in their crosstown community in the Don Mills Road and the Eglinton Avenue East. The tower designed by Core Architects is located in a room that is referred to as Block 6c of the Crosstown Master Plan and the Eglinton Avenue along the south side of the 60 hectare multiple phase development. The phases that have already been completed or in alley include a crosstown towers I, II and III as well as the coat of arms and more in the west, the office building of Crosstown Place in the east and the generations in the north, while Townhome blocks and a future recreation center nearby are planned.

Crosstown Community was previously the Celestica Campus, an industrial area that was first developed as the headquarters of IBM's Canadian operations. After Celestica's move, a multi-phase renovation plan, which was originally referred to as Wynford Green Master Plan, was approved by an official change of plan, a sub-section plan and a local reconciliation. As a crosstown community, when Aspen bought it, the area becomes a dense, mixed user, drink-oriented district, which deals with the Don Valley Station on the Eglinton line 5 soon opened, which finally becomes an exchange with Ontario Line 3.

This latest application sees a 39-story residential tower of 130.0 m and rises above a six-story podium. The 2,602 m² block is currently empty, but is being waited for the location. It is limited by the Eglinton Avenue east in the south, Block 6b in the west and the new inner streets Steve Podborski Road in the north and the Mike Palmateer Road to the east. The tower would provide 452 condominium units in a total gross floor area of ​​30,535 m², all residential buildings and a floor surface index of 12.39 times the cover. The MIX unit comprises 1 studio, 262 with a bedroom, 153 two-room suites with two bedrooms.

The equipment areas would be on the ground floor and on the seventh floor, in which an created outdoor terrace is planned. The proposal comprises 750 m² of interiors and 1,076 m² outdoor equipment. Below the class, a five-stage underground garage would house 158 residential and 11 visitor parking spaces. For cyclists, plans include 489 long -term and 46 short -term bicycle spots.

The area is only a short walk to the west from the future Don Valley Station. The inputs in the LRT and the associated bust terminal are already available in Eginton and Don Mills, while the increased Ontario Line Terminal Station in the northeastern corner of the intersection is planned. The bicycle infrastructure includes dedicated alleys in the Eglinton Avenue East and planned bicycle routes throughout the grounds that offer connections to the Don Valley Trail and to the Leaside Rail Trail.

Block 6c joins and around the crosstown community with high-rise development, including the 27-story generations tower, a crosstown towers I, III, together with the middle rise coat of arms of 8 to 39 floors and more. Beyond the municipality in the west, Leslie Street 1075 proposes five towers between 13 and 49 floors, while in East 15 Gervais Drive obtained approval for a 40-story tower. South of the location, the intensification includes suggestions at 770 DON Mills (37 to 48 floors), 805 Don Mills (26 and 48 floors), 7–11 Rochefort Drive (30 to 53 floors) and 793 Don Mills (38 to 60 Storeys).
