While we still have a few stories to tell before our Christmas break, this will be our last daily photo until January 2024. This stunning image from UrbanToronto Forum contributor TwinHuey is a drone shot looking southwest over Leaside Park, capturing a northbound GO train on the Richmond Hill line as car lights trace the Parkway's route through the Don Valley; While the Leaside Bridge dominates in the foreground, the skylines of Bloor-Yorkville and downtown Toronto loom on the horizon in the foggy background.
The image also shows what December 2023 has looked like so far and what the long-term forecast promises will remain the case until the new year – a wet Christmas rather than a white one – with mostly cloudy days with single digit degrees Celsius in store for us. Despite the rather magically moody and mysterious image, may your end of the year be magical in a happier way. See you again in 2024!
