The destruction is almost complete and the construction was started in the WARDEN station, currently the penultimate east-end station in Danforth Line 2. Designed by Strasman Architects with WSP for the Toronto Transit Commission and was opened in 1968, the outdated silo buster of the subway station is being added through a fully accessible, two-storey furnishings with an island styles. Bus terminal work is the first stage of a wider transit -oriented revival at the intersection of the guardian and the St. Clair, which includes one of the planned mixed income accommodation from createto. The work in July 2024 started in February 2025. A comprehensive demolition in March 2025 shows the active demolition near the Westend, in which a bay of the bus terminal building is almost completely torn down. The excavators look to the northeast and are equipped with gripper and powderizer attachments and processing waste. The drawer -like bays of the original structure that were once used for bus routes are partially expelled, their concrete roof plates are broken down and the inner walls are exposed. Rümmer clusters are staged in nearby containers. In the back, north of the St. Clair Avenue East, the parking lot in the 705 Warden Avenue is planned for renovation, with three new residential towers with mixed incomes up to 19 floors as part of the initiative for apartments.

A few days later, insulated parts of the inner walls stood on the edges of the location. A hydraulic excavator works through the surrounding rubble field.

We see two active works from the northern edge of the site near the St. Clair Avenue. In the middle there are large sections of ruins, which are lifted near a still standing part of the bus terminal. On the right, the crews prepare an underground infrastructure in which the ditch of concrete series occurs in excavated channels. Bright orange protective channels and lining indicate drainage equipment.

The demolition and a later construction are continued in phases. The full completion of the new terminal will be expected by the end of 2027. Temporary bus connections are available south of the train station.
