Ebay announced the start of its 2025 Up & Running Grants program and offered 50,000 US dollars at 50 small companies in the USA. Now in the sixth year, the initiative is awarded a total of 500,000 US dollars, together with additional resources that should help the entrepreneurs to grow and scale their business.
Since the program was founded in 2020, Ebay has distributed over 2.5 million US dollars to grants to 250 sellers. This year's recipients each receive a cash of 10,000 US dollars, a loan of $ 500 for eBay -renovated and access to a series of coaching, tools and educational materials.
According to Ebay, the UP & Running Grants program is intended to help sellers strengthen the company, expand the offer and invest in their communities. The program underlines the persistent commitment of eBay to promote entrepreneurship and economic opportunities.

The company reports that former recipients of grants have used their awards to update shop fronts, improve digital infrastructure, to expand product lines, to rationalize the fulfillment of the order and to set new team members. In addition, 90% of the former recipients stated that the grant made a significant difference in their trust in the future.
