Glazing and Bronze Cladding Appear on The United BLDG at University and Dundas

From the southwestern corner of the university and dundas above, the construction is now visible above the roof line of the MacLean-Hunter building. A white concrete drilling pump between the cranes facilitates on the upper levels. In the degree, the work on the extended sidewalk and the protected arcade continues along the Dundas, which doubles the pedestrian room and at the same time comprises a new entrance to the St. Patrick Subway station station.

If you look south into the northwestern corner of the location along the University Avenue above, a closer look is to reinstall a roof via retail fronts. Red Shoring posts support the above cultural walls before new final supporting walls are added, the cultural heritage stone cladding and the green marble cladding are restored to frame the structure, while a packaged range of building material is in the foreground.

When staying of a nearby building, the building step is now on 11 floors. On the left side, the preserved Beaux-Arts facade of the Maclean Publishing Company building is visible, whereby white tarpaulins are on the spot in place, on which decorative spandrel panels are reinstalled after the restoration. A way back above the eight-story cultural heritage base marks the beginning of the new height. The doting is available for the panels on the right side on the right side, whereby the placement of the concrete slabs is complete on the left. Two cranes work north and south.

With a view of the southwest towards the northeastern corner, in which former buildings were torn down, the glazing along the second and third floor is installed on the new podium level. Blue protective wrap is still attached to some windows, while white tarpaulin covers others. Steel anchor rods under a future location of Baldachin. Above defines the parapet on the 10th floor, where the new buildings step back. The South Crane installs a new mast segment for the hoist that continues to rise.

This close -up of the northern height shows the newly installed curtain road on the second and third floor, whereby visual glazing boards are framed by bronze -colored posts. Blue weather protection is visible along the edge of the plate.

Curved concrete slab edges define the contemporary massage of the podium on the east wall. Dark bronze and structured aluminum plates were installed on the second floor and partially bordered on the restored cultural heritage wall. Adjacent to the hoists, curved curtain glazing follows the curved plate profile.

As soon as the United BLDG has been completed, it reaches a height of 184.85 m and contains 743 condominiums.
