Last Chance to Vote in UrbanToronto’s 2025 Year-End Poll!

Presented by

With the new year still fresh, this weekend is your last chance to take UrbanToronto’s end-of-year reader poll, but the window is closing quickly. Voters have just two days left to make their choice before polling closes at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Your vote, brought to you by our friends at Diverso Energy, will help determine which completed buildings stood out the most in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area over the past year.

Now in its 12th year, UrbanToronto’s survey invites the community to reflect on another year of city building by voting for the most popular new buildings to be completed in 2025. In total, this year’s survey includes 121 completed buildings, a record number of candidates. Projects are grouped by height, with voters selecting a favorite building in each category:

  • 6-7 floors – 14 projects
  • 8 floors – 12 projects
  • 9 floors – 7 projects
  • 10 floors – 9 projects
  • 11-13 floors – 11 projects
  • 14-15 floors – 12 projects
  • 16-19 floors – 12 projects
  • 20-25 floors – 10 projects
  • 26-32 floors – 11 projects
  • 33-39 floors – 11 projects
  • 40-49 floors – 5 projects
  • Over 50 floors – 7 projects

Each project in the survey is represented by a single image. Readers interested in taking a closer look are encouraged to click through to the linked project pages, which lead to UrbanToronto forum threads with detailed photographs.

Voting remains open until Sunday, January 11, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Submit your selections as soon as possible as results will be finalized immediately after the deadline. The winners of each category will be announced next week.

Voting is open to all and UrbanToronto membership is not required. Readers are encouraged to share the poll with colleagues and friends and join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #UrbanTorontoPoll before time runs out. Click here to vote now!
