Lily Allen and David Harbour List Their Brooklyn Brownstone

Musician Lily Allen and actor David Harbor have listed their marital home in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, just two days after releasing their album “West End Girl,” which includes intimate details about their breakup several months ago and their decision to buy their brownstone home.

The asking price for the late 19th century home is $7.995 million, more than double the purchase price of $3.35 million four years ago. Carl Gambino of Compass is the stock broker.

The home — four stories tall and 22 feet wide — features five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room, as well as three fireplaces and a finished basement with a gym and laundry.

In happier times, in 2023, Ms. Allen and Mr. Harbor gave Architectural Digest a light-hearted tour of the house, pointing out the coffee bar and an ornate chandelier in the kitchen, which the singer described as “luxurious, warm and functional.”

The whimsical “garden room” features colorful floral wallpaper, a working fireplace and a double-sided sofa so the couple can “argue and look at each other and relax at the same time,” Ms. Allen told Architectural Digest. “We play board games here, read books and play on the iPad,” Mr. Harbor added.

The tone of the title track of Ms. Allen's album was far less upbeat, suggesting that the decision to buy the brownstone was largely Mr. Harbor's.

Now I'm looking at houses with four or five floors

And you found us a brownstone and said, “Do you want it?” It's yours.'

Abel Tesfaye, also known as R&B singer The Weeknd, bought a waterfront property in Coral Gables, Florida, a suburb of Miami, for $50 million.

The recently completed purchase in the Gables Estates gated community represents a record sales price for Coral Gables, according to Eddy Martinez and Roland Ortiz of ONE Sotheby's International Realty, who brokered the transaction. The property was listed for $54.9 million.

The nearly 19,000-square-foot mansion with eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms and two powder rooms sits on a 1.24-acre peninsula with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. Included in the price are a private yacht-sized dock, a 62-foot outdoor pool and a five-car garage.

Mr. Tesfaye, a Grammy Award-winning artist, also owns a mansion in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Actor Mark Wahlberg and his wife, model Rhea Durham, are the new owners of a 2.67-acre lakefront estate in the Delray Beach, Florida area.

They bought the property known as Palazzo di Lago in the exclusive community of Stone Creek Ranch in March for $32.6 million, according to the deed, a huge discount from the asking price of $45 million.

The centerpiece of the landscaped property is a 17,800-square-foot mansion with seven bedrooms, ten full bathrooms and two powder rooms, as well as a wine cellar, home theater, gym, cigar lounge and hidden safe.

Outdoor amenities include a massive saltwater lagoon pool, a tennis court, and an outdoor chess board with life-size pieces.

Mr. Wahlberg and Ms. Durham had previously lived in Las Vegas with their four children.

Comedian Roseanne Barr said goodbye to her 46-acre farm on Hawaii's Big Island.

The property on the island's northeast coast was her primary residence for 18 years and was also the subject of the short-lived 2011 reality TV series “Roseanne's Nuts,” in which she chronicled her life growing macadamia nuts and raising livestock with her partner Johnny Argent and son Jake Pentland.

While it's unknown how much Ms. Barr actually made from the farm, she made a tidy profit from the sale. A local rancher recently purchased it for $2.6 million, $650,000 over the asking price. (She had paid $1.78 million in 2007.)

According to Paul Stukin of Deep Blue HI, Ms. Barr's broker, the farm sold within days of its listing. “I had people flying in from five different states and three different European countries, and of course from the neighboring islands,” he said.

The sprawling property features a 2,716-square-foot home with four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and a lanai overlooking the shoreline and orchards. Other features include a pool and pool house, an art studio, a greenhouse, and a bamboo-enclosed outdoor shower and soaking tub.

NFL defensive tackle Grady Jarrett has put his Georgia estate on the market months after signing a three-year, $43.5 million contract with the Chicago Bears.

Mr. Jarrett played for the Atlanta Falcons for 10 seasons, from 2015 to 2024, before being released by the team in March. Two months later, he and his wife Aja Thorpe reportedly purchased a home in Vernon Hills, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

His sprawling 2.5-acre estate in Sandy Springs, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, is for sale for $6.25 million. Robin Collins of Ansley Real Estate/Christie's International Real Estate is the listing agent.

The main house spans 11,480 square feet and features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and two powder rooms. There are numerous amenities including a fully equipped gym. a “recreation room” with a sauna, cold plunge pool and whirlpool; an outdoor pool; and a basketball court.

Musician Christine McVie's London penthouse has been sold by her estate three years after her death aged 79. The purchase price was 6.65 million pounds, or about $8.9 million, below the asking price of 6.95 million pounds, according to real estate agent Yahya Swallem of Beauchamp Estates.

Ms. McVie, a songwriter, singer and keyboardist for Fleetwood Mac, bought the apartment in London's exclusive Belgravia district about a decade ago, shortly after she rejoined the group.

The penthouse is approximately 2,552 square feet and is located on the top two floors of the building. It features three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and a spacious private roof terrace.

Activist investor Carl Icahn has put his midtown Manhattan penthouse back on the market – this time with a hefty discount. The new price: $23 million.

The apartment, a duplex consisting of three combined units, is located on the 51st and 52nd floors of the Museum Tower at 15 West 53rd Street. It was on the market for $30 million in 2020, then delisted the following year.

Mr. Icahn and his wife Gail moved to Indian Creek Village, an exclusive island in the Miami area, in 2018.

The New York penthouse spans approximately 13,000 square feet and features seven bedrooms, eleven and a half bathrooms, two wood-burning fireplaces, and impressive city and Central Park views through the oversized windows and 2,000 square feet of terraces.

The listing agent is Patricia Vance of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
