The petition calls for Minaj to be repatriated to her home island of Trinidad and Tobago.

A new one Change.org Petition to report rapper Nicki Minaj, real name Onika Maraj, after her performance at the America Fest in Turning Point USA.

The petition calls for Minaj's repatriation to her home country of Trinidad and Tobago and is gaining popularity on social media. So far, over 37,000 signatures have been collected.

The petition, hosted on Change.org, surfaced following Minaj's recent appearance at a Turning Point USA America Fest event, where she made supportive comments by President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Minaj also made remarks that were viewed by many as transphobic. During her conversation with Erika Kirk, Minaj leaned on a right-wing talking point that says white people are demonized and asked to be ashamed of yourself.

“I don’t need someone with blonde hair and blue eyes downplaying their beauty because I know my beauty,” she said.

Minaj added that she believes boys are discouraged from being masculine.“It's okay. Be boys,” she said. “There's nothing wrong with being a boy… How powerful is that? How profound is that? Boys will be boys, and there's nothing wrong with that.”

While Minaj didn't say anything explicitly malicious, her willingness to raise her voice in support of Turning Point USA and its supporters was a tough pill for many to swallow. Charlie Kirk, one of the organization's founders, has a record of making derogatory comments about Minaj, Black people and Black women. Her willingness to share the stage with Kirk's wife, Erika, sparks anger and confusion among many fans and foes. It goes without saying that when the calls for deportation came, the reactions varied.

@yubeeri posted: “I like all of Nicki Minaj's deportation tweets,” accompanied by a popular Beyoncé gif.

@fudontlike2bad explained why the Pink Print rapper should no longer be allowed into the country, including her support for known child abusers.

“Nicki Minaj continues to intervene in U.S. political debates despite not being a U.S. citizen and supporting her brother, who was convicted of child molestation, and her husband, a sex offender. She can't vote, defends dissidents, and has shitty opinions.”

For one

With American immigration policy in flux, Minaj's immigration status could well become an issue. According to the rapper in a recent TikTok Live session, she paid more than enough money to get citizenship.

“I was born on a beautiful island called Trinidad and Tobago. But I have lived in the States for many years. You would think that with the millions of dollars I have paid in taxes to this country, I would have been granted honorary citizenship many, many, many thousands of years ago.”
