Phase 1 Tower at Central Park Reaches Mechanical Penthouse

Phase 1 of the residences in Central Park has now reached its mechanical penthouse level, a large milestone for the transit-oriented community in the Leslie Street and the Sheppard Avenue East at the East End of the North York Viertels BayView Village. The 12 morning location developed by Core Architects for the Amexon Development Corporation and is converted into a fifth mixed community that is organized for a three hectare Central Park.

Urbantoronto recently delivered an update in August 2025 for the location, which was both on foot from Leslie Subway Station and Oriole Go and was placed above the edge of the East Don Parkland, the part of the huge Ravine Park system in Toronto.

At the beginning of September 2025, phase 1 is now approaching its entire 31-story height, whereby the glazing system is increasing from the current top floor within six floors. The glass bis ceiling glass, framed in the black aluminum with white vertical accents, increases the tower increasingly, while a design love remains near the northeastern corner. The crane is at the western end of the structure.

The measures to protect the East Don Parkland include the stabilization of the slope and the reinforcement of Riprap. This month, the work on site was advanced with the installation of a new stair connection, which leads from the development to the East Don Ravine Trail system. The picture shows steel wrestling and landings that are positioned on the natural slope. Temporary orange safety fences of the corridor. After completion, the work zone is restored with local plants, while this connection connects the municipality into the existing trail network behind the office building at the northern end of the site.

Finally, phase 1 can be seen below, whereby the 31 houses are completed and the construction activity is moved to the mechanical penthouse, where the first formwork on the roof line is visible. The disguise system has reached the 28th stage along the south height and on the 29th on the east and west side. The characteristic white balcony plates articulate the South facade, while the first installations of balcony watches with leaf patterns can be seen between the seventh and tenth floor and reinforce the design intention of the project to connect to the adjacent natural environment. Three cranes for phase 2 remain active in the foreground.

In the area south of the phase 1 tower, the work in the common garage for phase 2 is looking for, where the second and the third crane mark the footprint of the upcoming 19-story and two 31-story towers. In the garage, electric vehicles are loaded on every parking space. Staging areas support a concrete mixer truck and materials in the class. The podium to be built offers 35,000 feet of retail surfaces and offers underground compounds to phase 1, whereby access to amenities in the 12 hectare master planned community is expanded.

The broader vision organizes five towers around the three hectare central park, whereby country railways such as Green Trail Road integrate the development into the edge of the edge and create a transit-oriented neighborhood that is connected to both Leslie Subway Station and Oriole. When fully expansed, the municipality delivers 1,478 living suites in five towers of 46.5 m and 105.9 m high.
