Almost all major mobile networks reported outages on Thursday morning.
According to tracking at DownDetector.com, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile users are all reporting problems with their cellular connections as of 9:30 a.m. Other networks such as Cricket Wireless, Consumer Cellular, Boost Mobile, US Cellular and Straight Talk all also have users reporting outages.
A chart tracking outages at AT&T shows outages were reported just after 3 a.m. Thursday. As of 9 a.m., more than 70,000 outages had been reported on the AT&T network alone.
Major cities affected by these outages include Houston, San Antonio, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Dallas, New York City and Austin.
Some of the most commonly reported problems on the AT&T network include cell phone connections and no signal.
According to the website, Verizon users reported only about 4,000 outages as of 9 a.m. At the same time, around 2,000 problems were reported by T-Mobile users.
By 10 a.m., outage reports appeared to have plateaued.
