TipRanks is celebrating a decade of simplifying investment decisions through its data-driven research tools: here is a list of the top 10 analysts on Wall Street.

To create this list, TipRanks analyzed every stock pick from analysts over the past decade. The ranking is based on analysts’ ability to generate returns from stock ratings and price targets.

TipRanks’ algorithms calculated the average return and statistical significance of each rating, as well as the overall analyst success rate. Every assessment made over the past decade has been measured over a one-year period.

TipRanks used its Experts Center tool to identify the top ten analysts who have a high success rate, defy the general market trend, and outperform their peers.

number 1 Markus Lipakis – Jeffries

Mark Lipacis ranks #1 out of 8,371 analysts tracked on TipRanks. The five-star analyst has an overall success rate of 73%. The chip manufacturer received the best rating from Lipacis NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA). His buy recommendation for NVDA stock from February 8, 2016 to February 8, 2017 returned 374.8%.

No. 2 Jason Seidl – TD Cowen

Jason Seidl is second on the list and has a 73% success rate. Seidl’s top recommendation was daseke (NASDAQ:DSKE), which offers flatbed and specialized transport and logistics solutions. The analyst achieved a gain of 327.7% with his buy recommendation on DSKE from 05/07/2020 to 05/07/2021.

#3 Quinn Bolton – Needham

Quinn Bolton is ranked #3 on TipRanks top 10 analyst list with a 68% success rate. Bolton’s best rating in a decade was on ACM Research (NASDAQ:ACMR), a manufacturer of semiconductor equipment. Bolton’s buy rating on ACMR generated a return of 608.4% from August 19, 2019 to August 19, 2020.

Dan Payne, in fourth place, has an overall success rate of 69%. Payne’s best call was on Birchcliff Energy (TSE: BIR), an intermediate oil and natural gas company. His buy rating on BIR stock generated a return of 372.9% from October 6, 2020 to October 6, 2021.

#5 Scott Ciccarelli – financial fidelity

Scot Ciccarelli is in fifth place and has a 74% success rate. Ciccarelli’s best recommendation was five below (NASDAQ: FIVE), a discount chain. His buy rating on FIVE resulted in a return of 249.4% from March 18, 2020 to March 18, 2021.

#6 Rick Schaefer -Oppenheimer

Sixth-ranked analyst Rick Schafer has a 73% success rate. Similar to Lipacis, NVDA was Schafer’s top recommendation. The analyst returned 190.7% from August 19, 2019 to August 19, 2020.

#7 Ross Seymore – Deutsche Bank

Ross Seymore is seventh with a 77% success rate. Seymore’s best recommendation was Ambarella (NASDAQ: AMBA), a fabless semiconductor design company. Seymore returned 150% from November 5, 2012 to November 5, 2013.

#8 Patrick Brown -Raymond James

Patrick Brown ranks 8th with a 75% success rate. The five-star analyst’s top call was active skirt (NASDAQ: SAIA), a shipping company. Brown returned 211.2% through its buy call from April 17, 2020 to April 17, 2021.

#9 Colin Rush -Oppenheimer

Colin Rusch is ninth on the list. The analyst has an overall success rate of 55%. Rusch’s best call was on Westport fuel systems (NASDAQ:WPRT), a company engaged in the manufacture and sale of systems and components for alternative fuels. His buy recommendation on WPRT generated a whopping 800% return from March 18, 2020 to March 18, 2021.

#10 Schaul Eyal – TD Cowen

Schaul Eyal Ranked 10th. The analyst has an overall success rate of 68%. Eyal’s best rating in ten years was on cloud flare (NYSE:NET), a provider of cloud-based security solutions. Based on its buy rating on NET, Eyal returned 384.2% from February 14, 2020 to February 14, 2021.
