On Wednesday, a lunch failure dipped thousands of residents and office workers in Toronto in the dark with a large part of the entertainment district, the financial district, the port and other overlapping areas of the downtown core without electricity from 1:30 p.m.
Toronto Hydro reports that over 5,000 customers continue to be affected by the interruption at the time of publication, with a default card a large rectangle of demarcation York Boulevards – a pick -up with condominiums and trading storms.
Toronto Hydro's failure card on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Shortly before 2 p.m., the pension provider wrote that he sent the employees to the John broadcast station to examine the problem and works with Hydro One to restore the power supply as safe and as quickly and as well as possible.
With the crews currently on site on site, Toronto Hydro estimates a restoration time from 5:28 p.m.
Based on previous failures, this timeline is probably expanded and is only based on historical data.
We are currently responding to a failure due to a loss of offer that affects the financial district. We work with @hydroone to restore power and appreciate the patience and understanding of everyone. https://t.co/zm5saln3d1

So far, the Cloud Computing Company Linode and Ocad University (for the Richmond Street West campus) have been among the organizations that have affected their operations, while parts of Path Network and several office towers – including First Canadian Place, TD Center, Commerce Court and Scotia Plaza – are also lights.
Some were evacuated from security, while others are supposed to run from emergency supplies based on accounts on social media.
This is a developing story.
