The Buildings Show and Real Estate Forum return to the Metro Toronto Convention Center next week, and UrbanToronto is once again joining the events of this annual construction industry extravaganza.
On the first two days, the events will take place parallel to each other in the south building of the congress center. On December 3rd and 4th you will find UrbanToronto at our booth in the Real Estate Forum. Come say hello and learn all about UTPro, the data services UrbanToronto offers to the industry.
The Buildings Show itself runs December 3-5, and on December 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., find us on the Sol-R main stage for a panel discussion about Toronto's main streets as the city changes with more and more redevelopment efforts replacing our traditional independent, two-story, retail-fronted buildings with mostly condo podiums. In addition to UrbanToronto President and Co-Founder Edward Skira and Editor-in-Chief Craig White, our guest speakers will include Emilia Floro, Director of Urban Development for the City of Toronto, John Kiru, CEO of the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas, and Chris van de Water, Vice President of Development at Fitzrovia. Each of our panellists will offer their views on how to keep our city's main streets vibrant as an important destination for everyday activities.
You can register for the Buildings Show here. See you there!
