Urbantoronto and the buildings will be shown on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET with a new online meeting. With the title “Highest and Best Use: Conversion Untered Locations to Lively Communities”, this discussion will examine, as agreed by Vorstadt and industrial areas, which once worked well, are transformed into mixed districts that meet Toronto's new needs. Since the demand for apartments accelerates and the city's guidelines are changing, developers are working on configuring outdated locations with combinations of residential, retail, employment space and public amenities. The event will highlight the findings, political considerations and design strategies that shape the next generation of communities in Toronto. Participation is free of charge and registration is now open.
The co -owner of Urbantoronto, Edward Skira, and the managing director Craig White are accompanied by Charles Arbez von Hullmark, Aaron Knight by Quadreal Property Group and James Cox by Canada Lands Company (CLC).
