Throughout 2025, the Residences at Central Park experienced its busiest year yet. Not only did Phase 1 sell out ahead of schedule, it also steadily climbed to the full height of 31 stories, peaking before the end of the year. Designed by Core Architects for Amexon Development Corporation, the 12-acre master-planned community at Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East reimagines the Bayview Village area in North York with five towers ranging from 12 to 31 stories.
Looking north at Phase 1 in January 2025, the tower rises several stories above the completed underground car park. We see active decks and edge formwork along the upper floors of the 31-story structure, which is scheduled for first occupancy in February 2026. Phase 1 is located in the center of the community and is now supported by fully constructed site services and the newly completed Green Trail Road, which connects the internal road network throughout the project.

Inside the residential lobby, which will be built in March 2025, the double-height structure will be defined by steel support posts. This area runs east-west along the north side of the ground floor and will ultimately serve as the main entrance opposite the future retail and leisure spaces. Glazing will later enclose the lobby. Amenities such as the library, pet spa and fitness center are taking shape, upper floors are being landscaped for suites, and balcony installation stages as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems are already in place on the higher floors.

Looking east over Phase 2 in early May 2025, the excavation pit was still covered in snow, with rebar cages protruding from the pit floor that will eventually support one 19-story and two 31-story towers. The retaining wall is wrapped in an orange tarp as the first Phase 2 crane rises. Groundbreaking has begun, setting the stage for a shared podium with 35,000 square feet of retail space. An underground passage will connect phases 1 and 2.

In this June 2025 view looking southwest across the East Don River, the cranes soar above the green of the valley. Phase 1 is now about halfway up the 17th to 18th floors on the right. The north facade shows the glazing installed up to the 12th floor and the construction elevator attached to the northwest corner.

In this northwest view from August 2025, we see Phase 1 rising high above the treetops and approaching its full height of 31 stories. In the foreground, three cranes now mark the construction work for phase 2, in which work has progressed from excavation to garage construction.

In October 2025, the completed phase 1 tower with its 31 residential floors was fully completed. Balcony guards with a leaf motif are installed up to the 22nd floor, one of the characteristic design elements of the complex. The broader community is progressing in parallel with the tower's structural completion: Continuous underground parking connects all phases, a new staircase will soon connect residents to the East Don Ravine Trail, and future podium facilities and retail base will anchor the neighborhood as the remaining four towers move forward.

Upon completion, The Residences at Central Park will offer 1,478 residential suites in buildings ranging in height from 150 feet to 350 feet, a community connected by shared amenities and direct access to the three-acre Central Park Common. Continuous underground parking will feature electric vehicle charging at each stand, while landscaped pedestrian walkways and a new staircase down to the gorge will connect the community to the East Don trail system.
