Toronto burger joint closes location after 10 years

A joint from Toronto Burger, known for its outrageous stacks, closes its original location after a decade.

While the competition in Toronto around Air Force theme burger spots that serve magnificent burgers is admittedly not particularly steep, it still cannot argue that nobody does better than top weapons burger.

The spacious burger joint was founded in 2015 with its original location on Prime Augusta Avenue Strip in the Kensingnonn market and was often filled with the rafters with hungry patrons, which are in a variety of fast food delicacies with AVI topics.

Menu offers such as F35 Mac, Hellcat Cheese Burger and Maverick Burger all help to build the theme of the restaurant, which, as you may have collected, easily based on the top weapon films.

In the following decades, the brand expanded with locations in the city and the GTA and recorded a maximum of five locations until the beginning of 2025.

However, things seem to take a different direction for the burger chain when the Top Waffer team went on Instagram at the beginning of this week to announce the sudden closure of the Kensington Market location, which made it a known name.

“After 10 amazing years in which we serve this incredible community, it is time for us to say goodbye,” says the title of the article.

“We would like to thank each one of them for their support, loyalty and unforgettable memories that we have created together,” it continues. “It was a real honor to be part of her life.”

The location had its last business day on March 13 and according to Google, the room seems to have already been absorbed by a Shawarma business. Stay tuned to get details.

At the time of publication, Top Gun Burgers did not answer a request to comments on the reasons for the closure, nor whether their other locations in the appendix, Scarborough, Vaughan or Mississauga are also at risk.

Kensington Kensington used to be in 251 Augusta.
