Shields solidified her status as a free agent and heavyweight champion with her last victory.
Claressa Shields has announced a freelance agency after making her recent victory the heavyweight champion.
Shields defeated Lani Daniels to secure her belt on July 26th in the Little Caesars Arena of Detroit. Now Shields wants to promote her legacy under a new agent. The “GWEAT” revealed that it is open as a new representation as No. 1 women in the heavyweight of the world.
According to Sports Illustrated, the 30-year-old announced the news during her interview after the fight. She realized how her growth in the boxing of women led to thousands traveling to see her fight and caused her to go on a new trip within the sport.
“I would like to thank every one of my fans who bought tickets, flights and drove here,” said Shields. “This is my dream to have over 16,000 people here.”
She will step down by Salita Promotions, her long -time agency, to see what else is on the horizon for the unbeaten boxer.
“I love Salita and that's my husband,” she added. “But I want to make the biggest fights and the best fights.”
With Salita, Shield's career has achieved her over 18 large championship wins with five weight classes. The current heavyweight champion can now explore all your options to make greater profits for your value in boxing.
Shields is already one of the most remarkable names in boxing, also outside the women's area. Her life story and her ascent to the Olympic fame were portrayed in the film The Fire Inside in 2024.
In the next steps in the free agency, the two leaders who sign shields, Jake Paul's most valuable advertising campaigns and the Turki Alalshikh and Riad season include. Paul's management team already has other undisputed world champions under his portfolio such as Alycia Baumgardner and Savannah Marshall. Her signing at Paul could lead to even bigger fights and stages, which would also accompany larger payments.
