How Have DOGE Cuts Affected Prince George’s and Charles Counties?

The counties of neighboring Prince George and Charles are among the richest, mostly black communities in the country, in which a significant part of the population is homeowners.

Many of these homeowners have jobs from the Federal Government, which have long looked at a reliable path to the middle class. In the past few months, black federal employees (along with others) have been released as part of President Trump's mission to revise the government.

Do you live in one of these communities and have recently been canceled? Or did you resign voluntarily?

As part of a reporting team in which the effects of the reductions of workers are examined on the Black mid -range, we would like to hear from you.

We are interested in talking to residents of Prince George and Charles Counties about their professional experience as a federal worker under the second Trump administration.

We would like to get to know the circumstances of your departure, even if you were part of a reduction in strength or will be left voluntarily. And we would like to know how your homeowner or your way to possess a house was influenced by the changes.

All answers are read and we can contact your submission for an upcoming article. We will not publish any part of your answer without contacting yourself first, checking the information and hearing from you. In addition, your contact information outside the Times newsroom is not shared.
